I,m not sure how I’m going to lose any more weight when I am hungry all the time. My band is giving great restriction and Dr. Birch is reluctant to give me another fill…..and he is right….any more fill would be uncomfortable tight. So I am going to have to exercise the weight off. I don,t have any other options other than the Dr. Bernstein diet and I want to save that for my “last chance”. The thought of going to a gym is just plain ugly for me for me…..I think that wasting time at a gym is just that… wasted time…. so I think I will ride my pedal bike as much as possible and look into a elliptical trainer of some sort so I can work out while watching a ball game. Thats the plan anyway…..see what I can do.

Well its time to get the bike out…..the weather has warmed up and most of the snow has melted so I had better get a few miles in before it snows again ( the forecast is for snow/rain for Thursday. I have to get a new battery and I should be ready to go. Maybe a run out to the Drumheller valley…..still will be cold in the mountains. I will have to see how my day goes.

I had to take my pedal bike into Sports Check and get the rear spokes tightened. The rim had gone out of round…….i guess from carrying my 250 lbs around. I want to get into a regular schedule of riding every night. If I am going to lose any more weight I need to get into a regular exercise program. I think I will start off with some bike riding around the block……don’t want to rush into this…..hehe……maybe strain something. There is still a foot of snow but that will melt by the weekend and then there is no more putting this exercise thing off. i either exercise or settle for 250 as my low weight. I do think I can get down to 230 range with some work.

I tried to get the Kawasaki for the kid but he didn’t want it….not cool enough for him I guess. He wants a crotch rocket. That I am not going to get for him…..If he kills himself at least I won’t be a part of it. He hasn’t picked one out yet and he hasn’t got any money so I think  were safe for the short turn.  Maybe I can find him a nice Sportster.

Well…..there is only one way to explain it……I,m pissed off……It’s still snowing, the Flames lost, and my bike has a dead battery and my race car is still in pieces. It’s been a really long winter. Not that hard a winter, just long. Boy am I ready for spring/summer. I just need a good run on the bike to get my head straight….maybe a run to the cabin….I should mention that the cabin is in Nova Scotia…..yes a 12000 km run…..that would do it.

Well…..I have about enough of this weather. Snow, minus 20 with the wind chill and supposed to keep it up till the end of the week. Makes living in Costa Rica look real appealing. My buddy from Nova Scotia called yesterday and they were going out to our cabin and doing some fishing….he said it was a perfect spring day there. Oh well, we have had a decent winter so far but it is turning into a LONG winter. Sounds like the main storm went north of us last night. QE2 highway to Edmonton sounds like it is pretty rough shape…..hope it get cleaned up by this afternoon…..I’m off to my support group meeting tonight at the Royal Alex.

I went into Calgary today and looked at a couple of different models of Zebec inflatable boats. I think these will be ideal for the Costa Rica jungle. I don’t know how the freight is to get one hauled down to Central America but Stan from Zebec is checking into it for me. If I get one I will try it out here for a while before I send it down. I don’t want to be out in the jungle trying to figure out how to put the thing together. Although they look fairly easy to set up I want to make sure everything I need is shipped down. That was some snow storm yesterday. It took me 1 hr to get from Country Hills to 64th on 14th. It wouldn’t be so bad but it probably isn’t the last storm of the year. Oh well…..it is better today and the weekend is supposed to be nice. We will see…….How about our Flames, got a split in San Jose and now are home for the next two. That will be the big test…..you know this one will go to 7. Blue Jays are still dropping winnable games…..but what else is new…..I hope to watch Kevin Martin tonight when he takes on the Scotts in the 1-2 page game.This is the world curling championship. Boy this has been a struggle getting some pounds off. I was down a few lbs ( by starving myself) but i ate 2500 -3000 cals on Sunday and put those lbs back on. I am getting really tired of this……starve yourself for weeks (1500 - 2000) and maybe get 1-3 lbs off and go back to 2000 to 3000 cals for a coup[le of days and all that hard work is gone. Really frustrating….I have a appointment on Monday with Dr. Birch and I will beg for a small fill. As long as I am this hungry I will not lose any more weight. If the next fill does not curb my hunger, I am in trouble because I do not want a tight band….
